Mariah Carey and Rumored Lover Bryan Tanaka on the PDA

After a highly publicized break-up drama with her then-fiancee, billionaire James Packer, Mariah Carey is clearly back in the dating game. Or so we thought.

The diva and rumored new beau, choreographer Bryan Tanaka, couldn’t keep their hands off each other while vacationing in Hawaii this week. Photographs of the two lovebirds frolicking on the beach recently surfaced on the TMZ website. Tanaka, who is 13 years her junior, was seen lifting the smitten Mimi in his muscular arms. Draped in her usual beach fashion, the diva was smiling from ear to ear and seemed to enjoy the nauseatingly sweet gesture. Occasionally, they locked lips and dipped into the water.

Though this romance has just taken off, if the pictures were to be believed, then one might say they belong to each other. Early this year, the 46-year-old celebrity was still engaged to the sixth-richest man in Australia. Their relationship appeared to be going well for some time and James even bought Mimi a $10 million 35-carat sparkler for an engagement ring. However, things suddenly went downhill in October and hardly anyone – not even the media – knew what caused their dramatic split.

Last week, Mimi made an appearance at The Ellen Show and when asked about the real score between her and James, she simply replied that “everything happens for a reason.” She admitted to Ellen that she is ready to move on. The pictures seem to affirm that she has indeed put the past behind her.

Her recent love affair did stir a number of wagging tongues, but the extreme PDA triggered doubts whether Mimi and the hunky choreographer are actually an item. The celebrity songstress is known for staging pictures for public entertainment. Not so long ago, she staged a similar PDA shoot with ex-husband Nick Cannon.

Nick quickly noticed the similarities and posted a throwback PDA photo with Mimi on his Instagram page. The likeness was uncanny. Netizens started accusing him of shading his ex-wife, but he posted a second photo with a loving caption that nullified their accusations. He said that “love never dies” and “@MariahCarey will always be my family and the Queen.”
